Matt & Elizabeth
We are so grateful for the opportunity to adopt a child. We are honored and thankful that you are taking the time to learn about us. Family is our top priority, and we value parenthood above everything. We have so much love, laughter, fun and support to share. It would mean everything to us to be your child's parents.
Our Child

Matt and Elizabeth have a 5 year old son. His name is Isaac.
Isaac is a very active 5 year old. He loves playing outside with Matt, helping Matt mow the lawn, swimming, playing with legos, magnatiles, Lincoln logs. He likes to build things and also to take them apart. He has a very active imagination. Matt and Isaac have created many characters out of his stuffed animals. He loves Spidey, so Spidey, his friends and villains often have roles in his games.
Isaac loves people. He knows no stranger. He loves to talk to people in the store, at the airport, while on walks, etc. He loves other kids and enjoys playing with them. He loves spending time with his family, specifically his grandparents on both side and his cousins.
There's no doubt in our minds that he will be an excellent big brother. He is a very empathetic child, always aware of others emotions. We have learned so much about parenting in the last 5 years. Isaac has shown us that while parenthood isn't easy, it is absolutely worth it.
What it Means to be Parents

Being a parent means so many things to us. What stands out the most is the unconditional love we have for our children.
Being a parent is also the biggest responsibility we've ever encountered. It means prioritizing the needs of our children over our own.
We provide unconditional love and acceptance for our children while also providing a safe and nurturing environment for them to grow and learn. We are responsible for their joy, their survival, their ability to cope. Being a parent means being a good role model. Those little eyes and minds are constantly watching and learning from us.
What we love most is watching our children learn and grow. We love watching them experience new things. We love experiencing those things with them. As parents, we are continually learning, growing and adapting. Our children open our minds and hearts in ways we hadn't previously considered. Being a parent is hard, but it is the most rewarding thing we've ever encountered.
Our Leisure Time

In our leisure time, we mostly spend time together as a family with our son, Isaac. Matt and Elizabeth enjoy watching movies, especially on the weekends. We enjoy date nights. Elizabeth does very much enjoy reading. She also enjoys cooking and baking. Matt enjoys being outside and working on the lawn. He really enjoys fishing, when he can.
We like to go out to eat on Friday nights as a family. We also go to church as a family every Saturday night. Sundays are our family days. We spend the whole day together. Some Sundays we stay home and some Sundays we go on adventures. These adventures include bike riding/family walk, going for ice cream, going to a creek bed to swim and play, hiking, going to the neighborhood pool, bowling. Sometimes, it is just the 3 of us but many times extended family (grandparents, cousins, etc) come along.
We also enjoy going to the lake in the summer. Elizabeth and Isaac like to swim at the lake and Matt likes to fish.

Our Extended Families

We are very fortunate to have both Matt and Elizabeth's family living close by. Matt's parents and Elizabeth's parents all live within 45 minutes. Matt's twin brother lives within 3 miles with his wife and young son. We spend a lot of time with them. Our son, Isaac, is a year older than their son, JJ. We call them "brosins". We both have siblings that live a bit further away but we still see often. We both have many nephews/nieces.

We take family vacations about once a year. This often includes both Matt and Elizabeth's extended family, so many grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles join. We just got back from Sanibel Island, Florida, with all of Matt's extended family. There are also multiple weekend trips to visit family in different cities. Elizabeth's parents have a boat on a lake nearby, so we try to spend time every summer on the lake.
We spend almost every holiday with family. We rotate holidays between Matt and Elizabeth's extended family, or we celebrate the holiday more than once. Sometimes both sides of the family are included in one holiday celebration. Most of our traditions center around food but also telling stories. Sometimes, we play games. We always do an Easter Egg hunt for Easter with Elizabeth's family and Elizabeth's mom always makes a large rice crispy treat that is the shape of a lamb.
Our family is very supportive of our adoption plan.
Our House and Neighborhood

We live in Northwest Arkansas. This is a thriving area of the state that is very family centered. It's a great area for outdoor activities with lots of trails for biking and a lot of parks. There are multiple annual events such as touch-a-truck, pumpkin patches, 4th of July parades. We also have access to Arkansas Razorback sporting events that are very fun.
NWA is a very diverse area. It is home to Walmart headquarters, which employs people from all over the world. The area is very popular for cycling, boating on lakes, and an excellent trail system.
We are zoned for an excellent public school district that has a great educational reputation.
We live in a 4 bedroom home with multiple large living areas and a huge backyard. The kitchen is the center of our home with lots of activity. We live in a safe neighborhood where the majority of the families have young children. There's a lot of driveway playdates with bikes, chalk, stomp rockets, etc. Our neighborhood has a pool and is less than a mile from the biggest park in the state.
From Us to You

Hi! We are Matt and Elizabeth. Thank you for considering us to be the adoptive parents of your baby. We have deep respect and admiration for you, and we are so thankful for your selflessness. We know that you are putting a lot of thought into this decision and do not make it lightly.
We have been together nine years, married for seven. We actually met online on a dating app in 2017. We love each other and have a wonderful friendship and relationship. We have very different personalities, but we complement each other very well. We are both hard workers with strong morals. We prioritize our faith and attend church weekly. We have one son, Isaac, who is five. We are unable to carry a second child. We love our family very much and we know that we would love this child unconditionally and endlessly. We are committed to each other and to raising our children well.
We have so much to offer. We both have stable careers with healthy salaries. Our work life balance is great. Our neighborhood is lovely and safe. Our public school system is highly rated and education will be a high priority. We have a beautiful home with a wonderful, big backyard. We have a nice playground and back patio, so we enjoy spending a lot of time outdoors when the weather is nice.
There are so many experiences that we are so excited to share with your child. We love to travel and experience new things as a family. We love holidays and can't wait to share holiday traditions. We can't wait to celebrate Halloween and trick-or-treat in our neighborhood. We also love Christmas traditions and go all out with hot chocolate, gingerbread men, decorating cookies, Christmas trains. We especially love reading Christmas books.
We both appreciate and desire an open adoption. We are committed to sending letters with updates and pictures to you. This would be on your terms and what you are most comfortable with.
We plan for the adoption story to be a part of the child's life from the beginning. We will use books to help him or her understand when young. They will know about their birth parents and their story. They will know and understand the unconditional love that went into an adoption decision.
This baby will complete our family. Our son, Isaac, loves babies and is excited to share all the things he knows and loves. He will be a wonderful big brother. Our goals and hopes for our children are they they have big, beautiful childhood memories and that they grow into young adults and adults who are successful and good humans. We dream of providing as many educational and extracurricular opportunities as they want.
We have so many plans for quality time and adventures for us and our children. Parenting Isaac has brought us both great joy, and we are so excited to love this child. The two children will be the highlight and center of our lives.
